Relationship Series Part 3 - Our Relationships with Our Kids

from Mental Maintenance · host Mental Maintenance

In the third and final episode of the Relationship Series, Denise & Jordan discuss the relationships they have with their children. First, they do a little light housekeeping and transition into the main topic when Denise asks a question related to the Netflix series The Ultimatum. D&J try to imagine what it will be like when their children are older and in their own romantic relationships. Then discuss what they've learned so far in their parenthood journeys and how it changed from beginning until now. They touch on what it takes to be a "good parent" and how sometimes social media can be helpful but most of the time can just feel overwhelming when it comes to parenting. A big takeaway at the end is remembering that the most important relationship in your life is the one you have with yourself, if you start there it's a good way to ensure good relationships with others!
