Often when it comes to gender-based violence the focus is on acts of physical assault, however, GBV can also come in the form of emotional abuse. In many cases, an emotionally abused person doesn’t even realise it, as it can be subtle and a lot of the times, thought to be a normal part of a romantic partnership.
