Relationships and Old Friends

In this episode of The Successful Side Gig I talk about relationships. Not marriage or boyfriend/girlfriend but relationships with old friends. I just returned from an epic vacation to CO in which I was able to mix business and pleasure by taking photos and also attend the most epic wedding in Fort Collins.   Key Lessons and take aways from this weeks episode:   Personal Networks tend to be your first clients Make sure you care about the people you reach out to Go through your facebook friends list and delete people you don't really care about   Road trips and Minivans are awesome   Can your side gig pay for a vacation? If people have reached out to you before "Don't Forget" I was able to discount my work for friends and book a full day! I ended up shooting 4 family photo sessions for $600   At the wedding, several people talked about listening to this podcast It was so cool catching up with people and hearing them talk about listening to the podcast   You never know where business will come from Have you ever thought about mending an old relationship?
