Relationships – Hearing with our Eyes

Have you ever realized that a person’s actions can betray their speech? Every relationship is built or torn down by the messages that we send. Communication is the hinge that all relationships hang on. It determines our levels of access, protection, provision, and even pain. Unfortunately, we often forget that at all times we are sending a message. 

Communication is not just about the verbals, the things we release out of our mouths, it also includes the nonverbal communication that we use. Since everything turns according to our communication, we must learn to master the message we send to others. We must learn to build, and not tear down… to affirm and not discredit. Heaven and earth will reward us according to what we say, so we must learn to master our communication if we are going to have healthy relationships.
