Relationships Matter

from Faith that Acts · host Barry Gladden

Here's how what is in our hearts comes out in our lives. Do we edify and build people up or tear them down? Do we keep our commitments or walk away. Do we receive criticism with a humble heart or reject it? Why do we justify our leaving relationships because somebody offends us while at the same time claiming our freedom in Christ. Our true character is often revealed in crisis. In Relationships Matter, I discuss 3 relationships that have impacted my life.

Do we receive criticism with a humble heart or reject it? Why do we justify our leaving relationships because somebody offends us while at the same time claiming our freedom in Christ? Our true character is often revealed in crisis. In Relationships Matter , I discuss 3 relationships that have impacted my life. Simply, we don't walk away from relationships we value. Rather we leave those we do not value. Here we discuss everything from puppy love to spouses and God. This episode is sure to stimulate your mind about how and why we form friendships and how the relationships we engage in can influence our lives positively or negatively and that what we do in our relationships is what people see and remember. Do they see Christ in you or do they see you? Did you ever hear Mom say, "Don't hang out with the wrong crowd?" Mom was right. We get known by the company we keep and often we come to reflect the values of the company we keep. Does their moral compass reflect God? [powerpress]This episode shares observations of unconditional love in relationships revealing truths from actual life experience and God's word. If we truly love God, change does come in our lives. We have talked much before about how faith should result in actionable response to what God has done according to how you are called. Now we discuss that one of the greatest impacts of our faith is on our character. To be a light to the world, when people interact with us, they need to see us less and Christ more.
