Relationships… What did you say?

The building block to every relationship, whether with an individual or organization, is communication. Communication is the hinge that all relationships hang on. It determines our levels of access, protection, provision, and even pain. Unfortunately, we often forget that at all times we are sending a message. Communication is not just about the verbals, the things we release out of our mouths, it also includes the nonverbal communication that we use. Since everything turns according to our communication, we must learn to master the message we send to others. We must learn to build, and not tear down… to affirm and not discredit. Heaven and earth will reward us according to what we say, so we must learn to master our communication if we are going to have healthy relationships. Some definitions of a relationship include the way in which two or more people or things are connected, an emotional attachment between individuals, and the state of being related or interrelated. All relationships require some sort of connection and survive and thrive based on the communication we feed it. In this season, God is allowing all of our relationships to be tested. The enemy is doing his job to ruin and sabotage Godly relationships, yet to make us hold on to unhealthy and damaging relationships. Let’s take the journey together and uncover… and unlock the key to having healthy relationships.
