Relatively Speaking Podcast: NBA trade deadline thoughts, Magic Johnson hot-takes

from Relatively Speaking Podcast · host Relatively Speaking Podcast

It is Friday! That is the good news. The even better news is that the Relatively Speaking Podcast is back to stimulate the pleasure nerves that rest inside your cranium. Seriously. Talk about being spoiled, listener. Anyway, we are only hours removed from the 2017 NBA trade deadline. Not a ton of big moves happened, but Jared would argue it was the moves that didn't actually happen that were the story of the idea. As for Joseph, he believes that there were a few notable trades. Ask Me Anything helped the show get off the ground with trade stuff. The New York Knicks did what they tend to do (nothing good), while someone asked of Danny Ainge should be on the hot-seat (no). Then a brand new segment was invented just so Joseph could create new theme music. It is more NBA trade deadline related stuff, but Magic Johnson being named the President of Basketball Operations for the Los Angeles Lakers is a highly touched on subject. Many other topics were touched on. In fact, you can ask anybody about what the hosts touched on, and you know what they would tell you? That Jared and Joseph touched on many other topics and those topics were yuge. Jared gets married this weekend, by the way. Celebrate him during his last podcast prior to signing his life away forever and ever -- and until death parts him from this realm of existence. PSA: Congratulations to both Jared and his wife to be Jennifer.
