Relay for Life event planned for Aug. 13

The annual Relay for Life of Pipestone County event is planned for Thursday, Aug. 13 at the Pipestone County Fairgrounds. Cancer survivor registration is from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a community meal and bake sale is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., a silent auction will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a kids run is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., there will be a kids sand prize pit at 7 p.m., and there will be fire truck rides, face painting, bingo, a heads and tails game, and barnyard bingo throughout the evening.
