Relentless Gratitude - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tues. 10-29-24 #1390

“Send Coach John a message”Had a busy day yesterday where I went to a funeral for the mom of a longtime friend of mine.  We have been friends for roughly 53 years and her mom was in her early 90’s when she passed away.  The church was crowded of course with the impact her mom made on so many people. I also got to spend some time with my parents before the service at their house and then also at the church, because they knew my friend’s mom too. Powerful emotions all based around the idea of “relentless gratitude.” The gratitude part was something that I’ve been focusing on for a long time, and then one of Ben Newman’s themes is being relentless.  Something he said recently in a post got me thinking about the two ideas being put together. Good things happen when I’m focusing on gratitude more than being distracted with other happenings. The relentless part of the equation seemed to fit together very well.
