The third week focuses on the "God of another chance," as seen in the recommissioning of Jonah and the subsequent repentance of Nineveh. In this we see the truth that the Lord uses human beings to preach his powerful Word, which never returns void but always accomplishes the purpose for which it was sent. We see a God who is relentless in His mission to reach the lost, even using a reluctant and flawed messenger to bring about the conversion of an entire city.
