Relic the Moment
from BSP: Believer Skeptic Podcast Hosted by BSP: Believer Skeptic Podcast
In this episode, Cody and Chris go back to their religious roots, so to speak, by talking about relics. First, Cody tells the insane (and borderline NSFW) story about the lost foreskin of Jesus Christ and its many tasty iterations. Then, Chris gets a little dark and discusses John the Baptist’s severed head, one of the most sought after religious relics in the world. Next, Cody talks about Veronica’s Veil, which was supposedly used to wipe the face of Jesus Christ before his crucifixion. Finally, Chris tells the strange and fascinating legend behind the Buddha’s giant tooth that (in one instance) seems to still be growing. Creep of the Week is a current event about Thai relics returned to their homeland. This week’s drinks are Wellbeing Heavenly Body Non-Alcoholic Golden Wheat, and Lunna Rosa Roadrunner Red.
