Do you have anyone in your life that you feel safe admitting your failures to? What makes that person safe? 2. Can you think of an example where someone put your interests before their own? What was the effect on you? Where have you extended that same valuing to others? 3. James 3:17 lists 7 characteristics of godly wisdom: pure, peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, sincere. Which of those do you identify as a trait you would like to see God develop more fully in your life? Is there a specific conflict or decision you are facing where you need this kind of godly wisdom? 4. Have you ever experienced God bringing abundance out of an experience that initially seemed like a personal loss? Is there any place in your life now where you think God may be asking you to make a sacrifice?
