In Matthew 16 it says “you will know a man by his works” so whoever you're following or listening to or looking up to, does his works follow the teachings of Jesus, which is peace, love, understanding, everything that is good.  In addition to all of this is our personal relationship and conversations with God which we should be having and we should all be asking for more discernment Not only for our religious affiliations but for discernment in life as well.
