Religious Liberty WIN for Little Sisters and ALL Americans

As Justice Thomas wrote in Wednesday's, July 8, 2020 Supreme Court decision, “For over 150 years, the Little Sisters have engaged in faithful service and sacrifice, motivated by a religious calling to surrender all for the sake of their brother.” After the Obama Administration decided to force nuns and other religious believers to violate their conscience in the service of a leftist agenda or pay heavy, crippling fines, the Trump Administration changed the rules to give an exemption to the nuns and others similarly situated. This outraged the Attorneys General of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and, we now know, Justices Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Justice Sonia Sotomayor. As Justice Samuel Alito wrote, “Nothing short of capitulation on the part of the Little Sisters would suffice,” for these leftist activists. Thankfully, the Supreme Court ruled 7-2 in favor of the Little Sisters, but I predict this is not over.
