Reliving The War Episode 51 - September 30th 1996

The date is 9.30.96 and there's a Monday Night War going on. WWF Raw and WCW Nitro are going head to head for ratings supremacy, and the way things have been going lately, the WWF needs to seriously rethink their strategy. WCW Monday Nitro has been a consistently better show, and the TV ratings prove it. This week, the fake Razor Ramon (Rick Bognar) has a match with Savio Vega on WWF Raw. The main event features Shawn Michaels and Jose Lathario taking on Vader and Jim Cornette. WWF Raw also presents a Steve Austin vs Jake Roberts King of the Ring rematch to kick off the show. Over on the WCW side, the nWo are staying in their hotel room but cameras let us see what the faction get up to. Not only does it look like The Nasty Boys have joined the nWo, but it looks like an associate of The Four Horsemen has also defected to the black and white. WCW Nitro is headlined by Chris Benoit taking on Rick Steiner.
