RELTALIATION OR REFORM? Democrats Push to Cut Judicial Retirement Age After Supreme Court Blocks Redistricting Plan

In response to its redistricting ruling, Democrats in the Virginia General Assembly have floated a proposal to lower the mandatory retirement age for Virginia Supreme Court justices to 54, a drastic change from the current age of 73.
