Remakes and Reboots in Movies & TV, New Music I Like, Super Mario & More

A look at remakes and reboots in movies and television. Among the ones I discuss are The Fantastic Four, West Side Story, Quantum Leap, Night Court, and Grease: Rise of The Pink Ladies.I also share my thoughts about new and classic music I’ve recently discovered: The Record by boygenius (which features Phoebe Bridgers), Daydream by The Lovin' Spoonful, and three new songs by the legendary rock band Whitesnake. Also included is my review of the new blockbuster animated movie The Super Mario Brothers, which features the voices of Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, and Jack Black. In the episode, I mentioned that I created a Spotify playlist featuring the music I discussed throughout the show. It has 17 songs on it and is just under one hour long and can be found here. I also mentioned that my wife Lisa and I recently started co-hosting a podcast about books and writing called The Storied Page. It can easily be found in most places that carry podcasts, but you can find a list of those places here. If you're a book lover, I hope you join us!Thanks for reading and listening. Have a wonderful day! Buddy Gott This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit buddygott.substack.com
