Remarkable Part 60: For The Joy (Mark 15:16-32)

As Jesus is being led into the palace and out to Golgotha to be crucified, the soldiers and the crowds mock Him. A crown of twisted thorns is placed on His head, purple garments are temporarily placed on His body, He is spit on and beaten, and hung up on the cross. The crowd mocks Jesus' authority as they shout, "Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe." In the middle of the torture, Jesus sees the whole plan. Because Jesus loves us, He endured the pain and suffering and He died for us! He suffered and died for the joy set before Him, that we would be saved.
