Remastered: Patience

Believe it or not, I am way more patient now than I used to be. The Spirit of God had a whole lot of work to do on me. Because this patience is a big deal. It’s one of the “fruit of the Spirit” that we have been talking about in this “Remastered” series. It’s one of those pieces of the “image of God” that God’s Spirit is trying to cultivate in every one of us Jesus followers. And it’s hard, because … Well, we live in a world that does not revolve around us. And more than that, we live in a world surrounded by sinners. Everyone I do life with is a sinner, and some of those sins hurt me. Just like, some of my sins hurt those who do life with me. So, this … God-like … patience … is a really, really big deal.
