Remember His Past Promises and Provision! Part 2

Our power to persevere and endure during the most difficult of challenges, trials, and tribulations is founded upon our faith, hope, and love of the LORD Jesus Christ. Without Faith we will not be convinced of God's kind provision for us as He continues to fulfill His promises. Without faith we will lack the confidence, trust, and follow through in obedience to His call to receive what He has promised. To build our perseverance, endurance, and steadfast resolve to overcome future difficulties we must also build our Hope in God and His complete faithfulness to us in fulfilling His promises of provision, protection and deliverance! Don't forget, God builds our hope through our remembering the many times in the past He has fulfilled His promises to others, our experiencing His provision in our present life circumstances as we trust Him, and doing what He directs us to do through the Scriptures, and as we anticipate with great excitement The fulfillment of His promise for eternal glory and rest with Him in heaven. This morning we will learn about the first of three foundational pillars of our hope in God. The title of the sermon is, “Remember His Past Promises and Provision!” To accomplish this we will examine three great examples of men who persevered through overwhelming, seemingly impossible, challenges and tribulations having put their hope in God and His promises, knowing that He would fulfill them!
