I also don't love the JRPG genre as a whole. That said, I might not have loved this game, but I see why so many do. I think I give it the "tough but fair" treatment, and while the cons didn't sit all that well with me, there's some definite pros here, too. My buddy Keegs DID grow up playing this one, and he's a pretty big fan. We spent over an hour talking about the funky combat, the awesome soundtrack, the weird-ass story, and everything in between. And before we fuck up another one of Albert's additions, I slap together another edition of the 'Remember The Game? Infamous Intro'! This week, someone writes in to defend soccer (football, whatever). If you could only play one, would you play all the games PRIOR to the PS2 era, or all the games after it??
