But Super Mario 3D Land is one that slips through my memory cracks a lot, and dare I say, for a Mario game I think it's actually a little underrated...It doesn't really do anything new or special, but it's a rock-solid 3D platformer, it brings back classic tunes and power-ups from previous Mario games, and while I think it's a little bit of a tech demo for the 3DS's 3D features, the fact remains that it's got that same level of polish most of my favourite plumber's games have.Pending RTG Hall of Famer Mark McCue is my guest this week, and while he has a stronger attachment to 3D Land than I do, I think I actually like it a little more than he does. At the end of the day it's me and Mark talking about a Mario game and sprinkling in some comedy stories.
