Remember This Day, in Which Ye Came Out from Egypt | Come Follow Me Study (Passover) | Exodus 7–13

from Come Follow Me Meditations · host Pondereth

April 6–12 Come, Follow Me: “Remember This Day, in Which Ye Came Out from Egypt” (Exodus 7–13) Why does God ask His people to remember—and how does remembering strengthen faith when deliverance feels delayed? In this morning meditation, we reflect on the story of the Exodus—when God delivered Israel from Egypt through power, patience, and ultimately, the sacrifice of the Lamb. Plague after plague came, yet Pharaoh’s heart remained hard. And still, God was working—preparing, guiding, and fulfilling His promises in His perfect timing. This story teaches a quiet but powerful truth: Faith is often sustained not by what we see ahead—but by what we choose to remember. The Passover becomes more than a moment in history. It becomes a pattern. A reminder that deliverance comes through Jesus Christ—the Lamb without blemish—and that through Him, freedom from sin is always possible. As you listen, you are invited to slow down, breathe, and reflect:  • Where might your heart need softening?  • What has God already done in your life that you need to remember today?  • What would it look like to walk forward in faith—even before deliverance fully comes? **A Note About This Meditation Format: You may notice this meditation uses a still photo rather than the usual cinematic clips. To continue creating these weekly Come, Follow Me meditations while also being present with my family, I’ve made a small adjustment to simplify the production process. My goal is to keep offering these moments of reflection and peace in a sustainable way—so that this space can continue to support your scripture study, even in a simpler format. Thank you for being here, and for allowing this to be part of your daily worship and reflection. Remembering past acts of God’s faithfulness strengthens belief when present clarity is still unfolding. In This Meditation: • Exodus 7–13 reflection • The meaning of the Passover • Christ as the Lamb of God • Softening the heart • Remembering as a spiritual practice • Applying deliverance in daily life As you move through your day, carry this truth with you: The God who delivered Israel is still delivering His people today. If this meditation helped you feel closer to God, consider liking, subscribing, and sharing with someone who may need peace today.
