Phil reveals the shocking lack of consultation on the laws with MPs, being briefed just hours before Parliament was recalled before Christmas. We discuss the devastating impacts on law-abiding firearms owners: arbitrary caps of 4 firearms for hunters, 10 for farmers and target shooters, removal of independent NCAT oversight, and the insulting bundling of firearms laws with terrorism legislation. This is the biggest threat to Australian firearms owners since 1996. The NSW Government struck while emotions ran hot, implementing policy by media without proper consultation.
