As Malaysians celebrate and reflect over what it means to live together as an imagined community in such fractious times, we thought that perhaps it is worth revisiting a particular ideal, planted almost thirty years ago by our then and current Prime Minister, that once offered a roadmap towards unity, prosperity, happiness and peace - Wawasan 2020. Joining us in the studio is Lim Sheau Yun, a researcher who is currently developing an archival project next year on this futurist ideal.
