Remembering a servant, Deborah, and the renaming (Again) of Jacob

Genesis 35:5-15As they journey toward Bethel, to get back on track with God as a family and a tribe, Jacob pauses to bury a most loyal servant, one that his mother had for more than 20 years before Jacob was even born.  After that, God visits Jacob AGAIN, and changes his name AGAIN to Israel.  Jacob finally builds what he said he would build it when he first went to get a wife some 30 years earlier.And 37 years ago, I got married to my amazing wife, Beth.  happy anniversary babe:)
