Remembering and Forgetting

A central theme in Deuteronomy is remembrance. Time after time, Moses tells the people to remember what God has done, and not to forget the covenant they had made. These dozens of reminders set up all the other themes in the book, and they ought to inspire us to remember our own stories with God.
