Remembering Hieromartyr Athenogenes and the Martyrs of July 16

Today we remember Hieromartyr Athenogenes, Bishop of Heracleopolis, and his ten disciples who bravely suffered for their faith during a time of persecution. We also honor Martyrs Paul, Chionia, and Alevtina of Caesarea, Martyr Antiochus the Physician of Sebaste, and Virgin Martyr Julia of Carthage. Each of these saints stood firm in their belief in Christ, enduring trials and martyrdom rather than renouncing their faith. Their stories inspire us to remain steadfast and faithful in our own lives.Support the show
