Today we honor Hieromartyr Hermogenes, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, who was glorified as a saint in 1913. Known for his steadfast faith and leadership during difficult times, he became a powerful intercessor for the Russian people. Saint Hermogenes was a devoted shepherd of the Church and a defender of the Orthodox faith and Russian unity during the Time of Troubles.
