Remembering Hieromartyr Maxim Sandovich: Faithful to the End

Today we honor Hieromartyr Maxim Sandovich, a priest who lived in the early 20th century in the Lemko region, now part of Poland. He was dedicated to serving the Orthodox faithful despite persecution and imprisonment under the Austro-Hungarian authorities. Saint Maxim was martyred in 1914 for his steadfast commitment to Orthodoxy and his people. His life and witness remind us of the courage and faithfulness required to follow Christ, even in the face of death.Support the show
