Remembering Johnny Gaudreau & Recapping Summer Headlines

Jason and Frank are back! After a summer hiatus, the boys returned to begin covering their fifth NHL season together on The DFO Rundown. Today’s pod began on a somber note as they remembered the lives of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. The two tragically lost their lives last week and the last few days has seen some very touching tributes from the Blue Jackets and Flames organizations.Frank, who is from the same area as the Gaudreaus, explained the special connection that the local community has to the brightest star they’ve ever produced.They then got into some of the big transactions that have occurred over the last few months. They started with the Leon Draisaitl extension in Edmonton.
