Remembering Roger Corman

On today’s episode of “Talking Movies with My Mom,” we honor Roger Corman, who passed away on May 9, by celebrating two of our favorite Corman movies, "Death Race 2000” and "Slumber Party Massacre II.” Nicknamed the "King of the Bs,” Corman proved that entertainment can be made on the cheap with an active imagination and creativity. We reflect on ways Corman’s profound legacy has impacted cinema for generations, including how he gave up-and-coming filmmakers permission to make movies in their unique styles and visions as well as how he consistently delivered what his audiences’ craved while being true to his heart.
