Remembering Sports and 9/11

Braydon and Alan get together on the 20th anniversary of 9/11/2001 and go through where they were and their memories of the event 20 years ago and how it affected them as well as what happened during the aftermath of the attacks in the sports world. We talk about the uncertainty that was in the air afterwards. We go through the story of the infamous Mike Piazza home run on 9/21 in the first baseball game that returned after the attack and cite the MLBN documentary on the game as well. We discuss how the uncertainty of the sports world then bears a little resemblance to that we see in our lives 20 years later. All this and more in this somber episode.
