Another episode of remember the '80s. Do you remember a time when America was innocent and free. I'm not talking about being among some hideaway monastery. I'm talking about a time when Americans can celebrate their freedom. I'm talking about a time when every American felt proud of their country. This was a time when the enemy was not within. America's enemies were in foreign lands. Food was healthy and delicious, we had just invented supersize. And movies were not only entertaining; but you could go to a movie with your family and not have to worry about cringing at any moment. The threat of the end of the world was in movies like The Terminator that would not happen for many decades. The best of all we were a land that loved the American dream of a family, a white picket fence, and in God we trust. Prosperity was everywhere, and you could dream and dream big. That was America.
