Remembering The Fallen Five Here in Chattanooga

The Wreath of Honor Fallen Five Memorial at Tennessee Riverpark.(Hamilton County Parks & Recreation)It happened here in Chattanooga: July 16th, 2015.Five service members were killed in a terror attack by a gunman at the Armed Services Recruiting Center on Lee Highway - and the U.S. Naval Operational Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve on Amnicola Highway.In 2019, the Wreath of Honor Fallen Five Memorial was dedicated at Tennessee Riverpark.This year’s remembrances for the Fallen Five are set for this weekend - and on Tuesday’s anniversary of the attack.Mickey McCamish - retired U.S. Navy Captain - is executive director of Friends of the Festival.
