Remembering What God Has Forgotten

In Luke 5:1-8, Peter responds to Jesus just as Adam had in the Garden, by drawing away from Him. "Depart from me, I'm a sinful man," says Peter. Adam hid. Sin consciousness causes us to pull away from God. We feel unworthy. We misunderstand His heart towards us. God knows good and evil, but He does not operate under that system. He operates in love. Love is above good and evil. It is superior to that fallen system.Isaiah 54:14 prophesied that we would be established in righteousness. Under the new covenant, we would become righteousness conscious rather than sin conscious. Support the show
