REMINDER: You Are Going To Die | Ep. 17

from Small Talk! With Alec Cuenca - Motivation & Mindset Podcast

Reminder: Your time here is limited. One day, you will die, your friends will die, your loved ones will die, but before that happens, you have the chance to fully live. And I want you to do just that.In this episode, Alec talks about a few things he realized when he reflected about her grandmother's death. Mainly, he learned that:1. Life is Fragile - Death is inevitable. All of us will soon die, and it is crucial for us to acknowledge our own death. When we understand our own fragility, the way we manage through our daily struggles in life becomes so much easier. Everything becomes so lighter.2. You Need To Have A Sense Of Urgency. - Since we know that we are going to die, the only question we need to ask is "When?". Once we know that our time is here limited, we become more appreciative about the little things and we do not take our life for granted.3. Your Legacy is What Matters - When we understand the things above, we can align our values and principles and create a plan on how we can create our own legacy. We all die, but only a few of us become intentional in creating the legacy that we want. Our legacies is the only thing that people will remember when we are all gone. We need to make sure our legacies is what we want to have.I would love to hear your thoughts on this one. This would mean a lot to me. :)Let people know you're listening!
