Reminiscence - Thanks For Being My Mom

from Ruminations from the Red Room · host Ruminations Radio Network

Thanks For being my Mom From The Red Room welcomes my Mom. This is the story of how in 1976, an extra baby was floating around, and a young couple who was up to that point unable to have a child, took him away from a life in the circus to a happy home. Might not have been a circus. We don't know. There's still a certain amount of mystery. I was lucky to grow up with such role models, as my mother and father. Mom worked hard her whole life, from her youth in a small farming community, and family, to side by side with my father as they built a family and a business. Bold, and supportive, she tried to guide her children the best way she knew how; with love and encouragement, and heart and head for hard work. Like anyone's life, mine could have gone many different ways, and I could be a million different places today, but I'll remain eternally grateful that she's my mom, and this spare baby found a home with them. ... and somehow, we still get in a Star Wars story. www.FromTheRedRoom.com twitter: @FromTheRedRoom ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
