Remove the Pedestal

In this episode I’ll be discussing, why we shouldn’t put the people we admire and look up to on a pedestal. We are all imperfect people who make mistakes, it’s part of our human nature. So stop putting people on a pedestal. Why? Because they don’t belong there. Remove that pedestal from your life it’s causing you unnecessary turmoil. Now don’t get me wrong TTalk Fam... It’s okay to have a role model, someone to look up to. Whether it be (parents, siblings, friends, teachers etc.) We do need those people in our lives that motivate us to be our best selves and who are good examples of what we aspire to be. The problem comes in when we put those people on a pedestal, and admiration becomes idolization. They become godlike to use in a way.
