Renee Good, Ashli Babbit, and Jesus: What They Have in Common | BROAD THINKING

Who would’ve thought two women, almost exactly 5 years apart, would provoke a visceral reaction in Americans. A reaction, that to someone with critical thinking skills, would see a glaring double standard. Renee Good was killed by an ICE agent after blocking a street with her car and then leaving once he approached her car. Ashli Babbitt was killed by a capitol police officer while trying to climb through a window during the January 6 protests. Two women, both protesting the government, both not violent, both exercising free speech - both shot and killed by the very corrupt government they were protesting. Just like two wrongs don’t make a right, two dead women at the hands of a fed does not make the government right.
