Reno Fires Rage With Zero Containment | Las Vegas News

Fires north of Reno are raging out of control, with nearly 400 firefighters battling the Bug Fire and Stallion Fire—still at zero percent containment. Aerial support, including tankers and helicopters, is working around the clock to protect homes and communities, while 4,000 people have been displaced. Firefighters from Las Vegas are stepping in to bolster local crews. All fires are human-caused; one woman has been arrested for arson. Evacuations are underway, with residents directed to the Evelyn Mount Community Center. Dangerous weather looms: high temps, low humidity, and incoming thunderstorms with lightning and flash flood risks near burn scars. Officials urge everyone to stay alert and follow evacuation orders.
