30 years ago, Reno teenager Pete Menchetti started a company called The Sticker Guy. Being actively involved in Reno's local music scene, Pete went from studying computer science to creating the first online sticker store in the very early days of Internet commerce. Since then, Sticker Guy has been based in Reno and providing stickers for 30 years, while Pete has moved on to also creating a record label, Slovenly Recordings, and operating multiple music festivals around the world under the name We're Loud Fest (with events in Greece, Italy, Vietnam, Mexico, and plans for Kenya) Next weekend, June 16-18, will be a celebration of Sticker Guy's 30th anniversary, with the Reno-based music festival DEBAUCH-A-ReNO at Wingfield Park and Cypress in midtown.
