Renovation | Confidence in God's Plans | Nehemiah 2:1-10

This week we continue our theme for 2022 - Renovation: Rebuilding for Purpose and our study of Nehemiah. In this week's text Nehemiah puts his bold plan into action as he makes his request to the king. This interaction highlights a familiar tension for many followers of Jesus: the tension between our desire to trust and rely on God's leading and the desire to do what God is asking us to do.It is clear that Nehemiah relies on God and it is equally clear that he is confident that what he is doing is aligned with God's plans. We can learn from Nehemiah's experience and begin with a focus on God's character and purpose.
