'Rental Car Rift' & 'Friends with Benefits and Without a Car'

First, The plaintiff has been friends with the defendant since high school. She cosigned on a rental car for the defendant, but she says the defendant didn’t return the car on time. She’s suing for rental car costs and traffic tickets. The defendant says her relationship with the plaintiff fell apart because she didn’t show any sympathy when the defendant almost died in a car accident. She doesn’t think she owes the plaintiff anything. Then, The plaintiff and defendant were friends with benefits, though the plaintiff claims the defendant used her for money. She loaned him money, got him new tires for his car, and helped him pay for a new car, but she hasn’t been paid back, so she’s suing for breach of contract.
