It's claimed rental rule changes introduced this year are having a disproportionate effect on Clare's rental market. Daft.ie's latest report, covering April to June, shows the average price of renting a home this county is now €1,872 per month. It marks an increase of over 22% in the last year. Report author and economist Ronan Lyons has been telling Clare FM's Daragh Dolan it's one of the biggest price hikes in the country.
