Renunciation is of the Mind - Prabhatha Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

from Bhoomananda Foundation · host Narayanashrama Tapovanam, An abode of Brahmavidya

Bhagavad Gita speaks about Renunciation. Tyaga and Sannyasa are the main two subjects of the Bhagavad Gita. The questions thus arises as to how to accomplish this Tyaga and Sannyasa? How does it reflect in our Interactions? Can Interactional Sadhana accomplish it? The entire world is designed by God, preserved by God. We play no part in it. But we still feel a sense of doership and enjoyership. A seeker must completely abandon the feeling of doership, enjoyership and sufferership. When all the activities performed are renounced attitudinally by the mind, it becomes the yoga for the buddhi. A seeker must introspect about God who has created and preserved everything and wholesomely surrender to the Lord. Sri Krishna says: “Mentally renouncing all actions to Me (the Supreme), regarding Me as the Supreme, let your mind, resorting to Buddhi Yoga (anchoring the intelligence in the Inmost Reality), abide constantly in Me.” Shlokas chanted in the Track: चेतसा सर्वकर्माणि मयि संन्यस्य मत्परः । बुद्धियोगमुपाश्रित्य मच्चित्तः सततं भव ॥ Bhagavad Gita 18.57 PR 23 Aug 2018
