Representative Bryan Steil (R-WI) says the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act will allow citizens to use a variety of official documents to prove their U.S. citizenship. “What we see continuously is calls from those on the left that will say we’re placing undue burdens on this or on that, when we all know that individuals can prove their citizenship at a moment of time for registration for something as essential as making sure that we’re protecting the integrity of elections here in the United States,” he says.
