Mikie Sherrill has represented New Jersey’s 11th Congressional district since 2019 and serves on the House Armed Services Committee. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1994, she spent almost 10 years on active duty in the Navy as a Sea King Helicopter pilot, leading missions throughout Europe and the Middle East, and as a Russian policy officer aiding in the implementation of our nuclear treaty obligations. She’s a former federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey and is now running for governor.
