Repeat the Sounding Joy: Reclaiming Christmas

God is the only one who could have conceived of a night where angels, stars, shepherds and wise men would all converge at a tiny stable behind an inn near Bethlehem. From the very beginning of creation itself, God already knew how this timeless drama would unfold, and from that very first Christmas until now, the story of the birth of Jesus Christ has captivated the hearts of believers throughout history. Each year it pulls us back into its awe and wonder. It is a story that will never grow old, and one that we will never outgrow. We welcome you tonight to our Christmas Eve service, a night when we proclaim that the light of Christ shines in the midst of our darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
