Repeating History, Episode 9 - Emerson Shenandoah, Director of the Skanonh Great Law of Peace Center

On the latest episode of Repeating History, Robert's guest is Emerson Shenandoah, Director of the Skanonh Great Law of Peace Center. Skanonh and the Onondaga Historical Association are preparing to host the Smithsonian Institution's exhibition, "Voices and Votes," which opens on April 19. Robert and Emerson discuss a host of topics related to Haudenosaunee history, including the Great Law of Peace, lacrosse, dispossession of Native land, and how this important history is relayed to visitors at the Skä·noñh Center. Emerson is an Onondaga Snipe Clan Member. A graduate of Cornell University's College of Industrial and Labor Relations, he worked as a consultant with Eagle Hill and the United South and Eastern Tribes in Washington, D.C. Emerson enjoys playing lacrosse for the Onondaga SRB Redhawks.
